چکیده
As population activity is increasing and the Kapuas river still a means of transportation, causing Corbicula largillierti to accumulate heavy metals (Pb) Coliform bacteria in their bodies. This makes it dangerous be consumed by humans. Thus, this research has two main aims. First, find out concentration Pb inside that lives at river, Pontianak river’s water. Second, analyze health risk consuming clams. Furthermore, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) used sample Most Probable Number (MPN) method Coliform. The result shows from have exceeded limits designated for aquatic biota based on Decree State Minister Environment No. 51 2004. In addition, measured using Estimated Daily Intake (EDI), Target Hazard Quotient (THQ) Carcinogenic Risk (TR) with scores each are >10 times RfD, >1 10−3. clam consumption 70 years life span 60 kg body weight, had high negative effect problems cancer consumers. However, problem might increase much worse due long continual period exceeding estimated daily intake.
